Singapore Civilian -vs- Malayan Chinese. Result: Draw 2 - 2
The game was quite fast but lacked thrills except near the end of game.  They led in the 1st half but the Malayan Chinese equalised in the 2nd half.  After some time, the Chinese equalised again within a very short time.  It was a lucky draw.  On the whole, the wings played a good game.  Kim Chan was not dashing enough.  Lim Swan was very hardworking - feeding attacking and defending.  Kam Seng played a good game too but not in the 1st half.  His ball control was bad.  He improved in the second with his cross shots.  He scored a goal from hands (about 35 yards from the goal) but the referee blew Kar Chong for off-side.

I played a sturdy game but lacked stamina.  Chooi Yew played the worst game not marking their forwards well especially the centre forward who scored 2 goals.  He should have attempted to head the 1st goal out but instead he just leaned against the opponent letting him head the ball from close range.  It beat the goal-keeper entirely.  The second goal was a gift goal.  Chooi Yew not anticipated the ball well, which he missed and their centre-forward just tapped the ball in being the goal-keeper having rushed out.  It was also partly the fault of the goal-keeper.

The Chinese 1st goal was scored by Kar Chong from a meelee beinghe himself tricky not kicking the ball but letting it went off into the net.  The ball hit the legs of the defender and he just kicked the ball into the net.  Lim Swan combined with Ah Aik and attracted Abdul Rahman, star full back, to one side and centering the ball past the other side of the goal area.  Ut traveled past their defence and Hoi Meng just placed the ball into the net.
